In 2009 we sold the home we loved, packed up everything we owned (including a 75 gallon tank full of fish!), and said goodbye to our life in Boston to chase a wild dream... move to the Adirondacks!

13th Annual Adirondack International Mountainfest – January 16th through 18th

The Mountaineer in Keene, NY has announced that the 13th Annual Adirondack International Mountainfest is organized. It will take place on January 16th through the 18th (MLK weekend) and reservation for clinics are NOW being taken. These clinics fill up quickly, and some of them are ALREADY full, so check out the online brochure and call to reserve your spot or to get more information.

The festival’s agenda and list of presenters looks very solid, highlighted by clinics from Conrad Anker and a presentation by Conrad and his wife (Jennifer Lowe-Anker) on the life of Alex Lowe.
