Hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving!
Ours was nice and relaxing – except for the traffic out of Boston on Wednesday. We drove to upstate NY to be with my folks, did a lot of lounging around and TV watching, and gobbled down some Tofurkey. The plan this summer was to head to NY at least once, if not several times, to enjoy the Stadium before they tore it down.
Those plans never materialized. For one reason or another I kept putting it off. In part, I suppose, because the Yanks sucked ass. (after all, who wants to drive all the way to NYC just to watch your team stink?). So there I was, looking at the schedule, with only 2 games left in...

The Mountaineer in Keene, NY has announced that the 13th Annual Adirondack International Mountainfest is organized. It will take place on January 16th through the 18th (MLK weekend) and reservation for clinics are NOW being taken. In an attempt to streamline things around here I am in the process of folding my personal site (avatar12.com) into Towns and Trails. My hope is that this will make things a loooooot easier for me to administer, and thus, increase the chances I post updates and content.
We’ll see how it goes, but for the first time in a long time I feel like I have a more manageable web situation (not to mention cheaper).
