Hope everyone has something fun planned for this weekend! Here are some really nice deals for the holiday, and I sure wouldn’t mind winning that shopping spree.

The High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid had such success with their “Elevate Your Rate” promotion earlier this spring that they are now promoting “A Summer to Remember.”

Bike lanes can improve the safety and the flow of traffic on streets where bicyclists and cars mingle.  However, usually due to cost, the availability of these lanes is hit or miss. 

The second annual Southern Adirondack Rock Climbers’ Fest is scheduled for this September 11-13 and will be held at Crane Mountain.

When my bike was stolen a few months ago, the bandits also made off with the lock. So, along with picking up a new ride, I had to look into a new locking system. As with most of my gear decisions, I wanted something light and easy to pack and carry.
