Forbes Names Lake Placid One of America's Prettiest Towns
Don’t you love lists? Especially lists by Forbes? Somehow the word “Forbes” before the word “list” lends a level of authority to it.
In any case, Forbes recently named Lake Placid, New York as one of America’s prettiest towns. I’m pretty sure Forbes has done this before. But a reminder that we live near one of the most beautiful towns in America is always nice (not that I really needed Forbes to tell me that).
Some other towns on the list include:
- Union, Washington
- Crescent City, California
- Deadwood, South Dakota
- Cape May, New Jersey
- Marfa, Texas
- Savannah, Georgia
- Guttenberg, Iowa
