Friday Featured Website – The Adirondack Lifestyle
It’s already Friday! How does that happen?
As promised, I have another featured website for you today:
Another blogger recently described the Adirondack Lifestyle, as “a love letter to the Adirondacks.” I can’t think of a more appropriate description. The Adirondack Lifestyle offers an upbeat – and often informative – take on what it’s like to live and work in the Adirondacks.
The Adirondack Lifestyle was a regular read for me long before we had the crazy idea to move here. Joann, the blogger behind it all, is also a real estate agent in Lake Placid. You see where I’m going with this? Yes, Joann and her blog had a huge hand in helping us realize our dream. She was the first person I thought to contact once we were serious about moving.
The funny thing is, Joann rarely markets herself through her blog. She mostly writes about what it’s like to live in paradise, local events, the adventures of her husband (a DEC wildlife biologist), and area ski conditions during the winter… and fall… and spring. Sometimes she’ll post just a funny video or a beautiful photo from her day. Those posts always give me a boost.
