GM Halts Production of the Hummer

This is a slight departure from the news we usually report, but I couldn’t resist rejoicing in this headline: GM says hasta la vista to the Hummer. As of yesterday, GM stopped making the H3 and the H3T, the last two models that were still in production.

Let me be immature about this for a second. Neener, neener, neener! Let’s hope the deal to sell Hummer to a Chinese company falls through and they stop producing these gas-hogging, planet-destroying, overcompensation mobiles forever.
