Happiness Is A New Favorite Chair

I am feeling utterly uninspired today. Really and truly. I’ve started about five different posts, only to delete them all and start over again. I just erased and rewrote that sentence three times. And it’s the most uninspired sentence in the history of sentences.

It’s just one of those days. I’m going to blame it on my new chair. It has rendered me helpless.

Unlike the above sentence, this chair is the most inspired chair in the history of chairs. It’s lovely, but it’s hideous. It brings a smile to my face, but if I stare too hard at it a concerned frown takes over. It’s unbelievably comfy, but it makes me stay up too late and then I’m tired the next day. I love it, but… I love it. I’ve determined that it’s just one of those things that was meant to be a part of our home.

But, seriously, what IS this chair? Mission, southwest, rustic, recliner… what am I missing? It has no business being in our living room, but it looks like it’s been here forever.

Welcome to your forever home, Mr. Chair.

Now I just have to keep the husband and cat away from it. MY chair.
