High Peaks Resort, Lake Placid – Elevate Your Rate
Although the title is a bit misleading, the High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid is currently running a promotion called Elevate Your Rate. It’s actually a cool concept when you get down to it. For 46 days this spring, the resort is offering “elevated” (meaning discounted) rates based off of the elevations of the 46 high peaks. Today’s offering is Mount Marshall, elevation 4,360′ – so the “elevated” rate is $43.60 per night. Not bad!
The catch – it’s only for 46 minutes each day. At some point between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, the resort will send an alert to fans and followers through Twitter and Facebook – and for the following 46 minutes the special rate is available.
The promotion is only running through the first week of June, so now’s the time to jump on the social media bandwagon and take advantage of it. It’s a beautiful time of year to visit the Adirondacks.
