In 2009 we sold the home we loved, packed up everything we owned (including a 75 gallon tank full of fish!), and said goodbye to our life in Boston to chase a wild dream... move to the Adirondacks!

The Adirondack Park in Upsate NY is the largest park in the contiguous United States. Its 6.1 million acres are a unique blend of public and private lands that encompass an area larger than that of Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Zion, Glacier, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Parks combined.

Our Adirondack vacation is coming to an end, but I wanted to take the canoe out one more time before we left. So here is a quick video of this morning’s sunrise over Lake Placid.
We had a great time with our families. Lots of paddling and hiking, good eats, and even a rustic furniture fair.
We’ll be posting a lot more content this week, so keep an eye out for it.
