Man emerges after spending 3 months in the woods
David Dodds, 43, of Fowler, NY wandered into the woods on September 14 and wandered back out exactly three months later. He showed up at his family’s hunting camp on Saturday with his socks frozen to his feet and 30 pounds lighter, but otherwise unscathed. No one, including his family, knows why Mr. Dodds went into the woods on his own – or how he survived.
I’ll be interested in hearing the details of Mr. Dodd’s survival, if he chooses to talk about them. For now, I’m satisfied with the happy ending to this story.
