In 2009 we sold the home we loved, packed up everything we owned (including a 75 gallon tank full of fish!), and said goodbye to our life in Boston to chase a wild dream... move to the Adirondacks!

The Adirondack Park in Upsate NY is the largest park in the contiguous United States. Its 6.1 million acres are a unique blend of public and private lands that encompass an area larger than that of Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Zion, Glacier, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Parks combined.

Saturday marks the beginning of National Park Week when entry to all of America’s 392 national parks is free. Campground fees will still apply, but you won’t have to pony up $25 just to see the Grand Canyon. Many parks are also offering special promotions throughout the week, so get to a National Park near you.

Yosemite National Park
I had made a small trip to Grand Canyon on 20-April with my family, we got lot’s of enjoy in the trip. Now my kids having lot’s memories in their camera.
Yes it is a very nice National Park for sure, But nothing like the ones in Alaska.
