Online Aerial Tour of the Adirondacks
The Adirondack Regional Tourism Council recently launched a new website – www.visitadirondacks.com. Along with an improved interface and design, the site contains a wealth of information about the region… everything from lodging to dinning to events to trip planning.
However, the highlight of the site is – without question – the extraordinary high definition aerial videos. Here is their intro video:

They also have a cool interactive map with videos of specific regions. http://visitadirondacks.com/First-Time-Visitors/Aerial-Tour.html
I’m not sure what is going on with the music selection. Sort of reminds me of one of those old employee training videos. I keep waiting for the camera to zoom in on some awkward guy who will say something like , “Oh, Hi, didn’t see you there. I guess you are the new guy. Welcome aboard!” Yeah, any of you who had crappy low wage jobs at a chain business know what I’m talking about.
Yanni sound track aside, the editing and visuals on these videos are really outstanding and the website is very well done – definitely worth checking out.
