Video: Progress
Things are a little … slow … around here lately. I think we’re experiencing our first Adirondack spring slumber when everyone just kind of takes it easy for a few weeks, recovering from a busy winter and gearing up for an even busier summer. It’s a good time to simply hang out, enjoy the bits of warm sunshine that are becoming more and more frequent, and putter around outside.
During our outside puttering time, we also continue to play around with the slackline. Believe it or not, this is serious progress from where we were a week ago.
No more hiking pole training wheels! We can both actually stand and balance for several seconds and take a couple of hesitant steps. Though I wasn’t around to catch it on video, Dave claims to have made it 7 whole steps yesterday afternoon.
Now on to curing cancer.
