I love lists like this. Forbes.com has put together a list of the 10 best road trips you can make on a tank of gas.
To come up with our list of 10 places to visit on a tank of gas, we looked at 10 major U.S. cities and polled a panel of experts on top destinations for a road trip within 150 miles of each.
Here is what they came up with:
- From New York City: Mystic, Connecticut

- From Chicago: Saugatuck, Michigan
- From Houston: George Ranch Historic Park

Glad to see Saugatuck get a mention; having just road tripped there ourselves we concur with its inclusion (although it took us a lot more than 1 tank of gas from Boston!).
