Posting from our campsite at Leelanau State Park, located at the northernmost tip of Leelanau Penninsula (west of Traverse City).
Had to alter our plans just a little bit yesterday, as the campground where we originally planned to stay booked up early. So we decided to head further north and check out the State Park. Glad we did, got a nice site right on Lake Michigan.

We were also able to check out the peninsula’s lighthouse and catch a sunset.
Today we plan on heading down to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore for a few hours, and then over to Traverse City to spend the evening checking out the city.
